It's only a month and a few days since we left Australia, but we feel like we've been on the road forever.
So much has happened since the last post here.
I'll just take a moment to put up some pictures from our trip out to the island of Leros to look at the first boat on our list.
...and we eventually got to see our first potential new home. From here it was pretty well as we expected. Some work to do, but good lines and a sound hull.
It was about now that we started to get the feeling that our expectations were somewhat removed from the reality. If there is one thing you don't want on a boat, it's that sinking feeling...
On to the next one...
The owner was sitting at a table nearby and offered to drive us up. He was so helpful but couldn't speak english. Not a problem. He'd just phone his manager and get us to talk to him, then hand back the phone for the translation.
